This time the focus is on scented geraniums with a garden walk and a cooking demonstration, both free with admission to the grounds. There will also be a hands-on workshop making wonderfully scented soap (fee required for workshop.) Plants will be available for purchase at The Shop at Wave Hill, to bring home for your own garden or windowsill.

Pelargonium glutinosum, pheasant's foot geranium

A crushed leaf rubbed on skin helps to naturally repel mosquitoes.
The scented geranium plant itself is not a mosquito deterrent.
